The Benedict Road truss bridge located in Richland County, Ohio is a riveted, through Warren truss. The bridge was moved from another location in 1959. The original manufacturer and date fabricated is unknown. It was disassembled, trucked to the U.S. Bridge fabrication shop for rehabilitation, and later reinstalled on upgraded existing abutments. The truss rehabilitation included replacement of many rivets with high strength bolts, new stainless steel pins at the bearings, new floorbeams and stringers, new full depth concrete deck, an ODOT tubular railing with decorative lattice, and all steel items were hot dip galvanized. The rehabilitated bridge is rated as HS 20. The bridge dimensions are 108' c/c bearings with a 13' clear roadway.
