U.S. Bridge was selected to provide this all galvanized, three span steel truss bridge for Presque Isle Downs located in Erie, Pennsylvania. U.S. Bridge worked closely with the Engineering firm, Owner, Contractor and the Erector to ensure that this project was successfully completed within the time period permitted in the construction schedule. All steel was galvanized after fabrication to ensure a long lasting, maintainence free structure. An asphalt wearing surface was installed on our own 3" x 9" 5 gauge bridge flooring. A 6' interior sidewalk was incorporated into the design of this bridge. The bridge will provide access for thousands of visitors to Presque Isle Downs for generations to come.
