The Pleasant Valley Road Bridge is a pin-connected wrought iron double intersection through Pratt truss constructed in 1881 by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company of Canton,Ohio. It was disassembled, trucked to the U.S. Bridge fabrication shop for rehabilitation, and later reinstalled on upgraded existing abutments. The truss rehabilitation included several new truss diagonals and lower chord members, all new stainless steel pins, new floor system framing, new timber deck, and all steel items were shop metalized. The rehabilitated bridge is rated as HS 11.2. The bridge dimensions are 162' c/c bearings with a 13' clear roadway.
