Hungry Mothers State Park Virginia
This structure was originally built in the early 1900's and was designed as a vehicular bridge. U.S. Bridge removed the structure during a bridge replacement project and returned it to our yard where it remained for decades. When approached by a customer in need of a pedestrian bridge in early 2005, U.S. Bridge offered to rehabilitate this bridge in order to satisfy the customers requirements. The customer was elated with the completed structure which underwent extensive inspection and repair to ensure the bridge was safe for pedestrians. U.S. Bridge has additional historic bridges that could be rehabilitated for a variety of uses. If you have a project in mind, please contact us today.
